Hotel Mercier

The hotel is lovely and has lots of quirky art and decor. Staff are attentive and helpful. The room we stayed in was spacious and well laid out, plenty of storage for clothes and had a kettle/coffee maker. The hotel is pretty quiet with little road traffic noise, however noise does carry from folks coming in late or walking across the floors in the surrounding rooms (please be mindful of other guests if you come back late!). The location is away from the very touristy part but has lots of cute cafes and restaurants nearby.

Beautiful reception and restaurant, lovely decor, lots of character, excellent location in a posh area of Amsterdam, close to canals and lovely artisan shops. Close to Anne Frank museum and Joordan area. You can wake up and go for croissant and coffee in any of the near by lovely cafes. Bathroom was good. Decor of the room was nice and artisan.

LOVED our stay at Hotel Mercier and will definitely stay again next visit in Amsterdam. It is not only a beautiful, charming hotel that is well equipped. But it is located in Jordaan which is the most perfect location to visit Amsterdam, highly recommend this hotel/suburb. The staff were so friendly and helpful, spoke fluent English which is appreciated by us tourists. The bar/restaurant down stairs was also excellent. The interior was stunning.

The decor was upbeat and the breakfast was first rate. Also loved the location near the Anne Frank house.
